Cuatro is a padel matchmaking app, currently serving the Greater Toronto Area. Here's what it does, why it's worth using, and how to get started.
Cuatro finds you a padel game. Tell it when you're free, and it puts together a foursome of players who match your skill level, your availability, and how far you're willing to travel — then tells you when a game is ready.
Two padel players who are passionate about the game. We found it frustrating to spend so much time planning games and not finding partners who were free when we were. Cuatro is our solution to that problem.
Because finding four players who are free at the same time, at a similar level, is the actual hard part of playing padel — and Cuatro does that part for you. You don't scroll through a directory or message a group chat hoping someone answers. The app comes to you: when it finds a good match, it lets you know.
It's free. Players never pay to use Cuatro — no subscription, no per-game fee, no advertising.
Because a group chat still needs someone to ask around, wait for replies, and chase a fourth every time — and on the nights nobody in the group happens to be free, the game just doesn't happen. Cuatro does that work automatically, and when your regular group can't fill a game, it can bring in another player who's a good match rather than leaving the court empty.
It's not a replacement for the people you already play with. Invite them straight into a game whenever you want. It's there for the times they can't cover it.
Create an account, add your favourite club(s), invite at least three friends, and watch the magic happen:
1. Create an account. 2. Invite friends you play with regularly. 3. Create your first game by picking a location, time, and duration. 4. Invite people yourself, or let the app find players for you. 5. You'll be notified once the game is assembled. Don't forget to book the court!
Players you've marked as favourites are prioritized. Beyond that, it matches you on skill level, playing side, and chemistry in general.
That's Cuatro's secret sauce.
You can block them. They won't know you blocked them, and you won't know who blocked you. You'll never be matched into a game where a blocked player is also in it.
Invite them directly when you create a game, from the same screen. Games with people you already know are just as much what Cuatro is for as games with new players.
You'll see it in My Games, with everyone in it. If someone has to drop out, Cuatro looks for a replacement right away and keeps the group posted; if it can't find one close to the start time, it hands the game back so you can bring in someone you know.
No. Cuatro isn't a court-booking platform, and it doesn't replace one — you still book the court the way you always have. Think of Cuatro as a replacement for whatever you currently use to coordinate and plan the game — the group chat, the round of texts — not for the booking itself.
Across Canada — but launch is focused on the Greater Toronto Area. You can create an account anywhere in the country; outside the GTA there may not yet be enough players nearby for the app to find you a game right away. Invite your regular padel mates and add your club, though, and you're ready to roll!

First of all, thanks for being part of this! The goal is to surface bugs, user experience improvements, and your feedback in general.
To test, create games — both by inviting people directly and by letting the app decide for you. Once a game forms, chat within it. As a player, withdraw from a game. As an organizer, cancel a search and cancel a confirmed game. Accept invites, decline them, and let some of them expire. Explore all the features.
